THE ELEVATE CHALLENGE
“What if all depended on you to change the world?”
Hunger, disease, homelessness and extreme poverty are an affront to all of us. At Elevate, we believe that while the answers to each problem are difficult, each problem is a solvable equation. The equation intersects human ability with financial capital and well-conceived strategic plans with opportunities to act. Almost all will agree that with the blessings of God anything is possible. However, its important that we do not overlook our part. In fact, it all starts with us - with our prayers, our resources and the talents we have been given.
In The Bible, the Books of James and 1 John challenge us to put our faith into action and to remember that our behavior and character have a direct influence on the lives of others. The core of the Elevate Challenge is a simple question based on that mandate: “Will you take personal responsibility for improving the life of another?” What you do and who you help are personal choices. What’s most important is that you step out of the ordinary, take a stand - and make a difference in the life of at least one other person.

Some of you will join with us as we work with communities living in extreme poverty halfway around the globe. Others of you will focus on the homeless who sleep in your local park, or on the elderly woman who lives just down the street, or maybe on those children around the corner who just don’t have a safe place to play. Our goal with the Elevate Challenge is to motivate thousands upon thousands of people to become Service Warriors around the world - each one doing their part in changing a community, changing a life and changing themselves.
The choice is yours - you can choose to shift the responsibility or you can choose to shift the paradigm - and take the Elevate Challenge.
